Match RECAP: Denver Dynamite Hard hitting and fast action are the only two words needed to describe the match between the Denver Dynamite and the resurrected San Diego Sockers of old.
After a scoreless first quarter that featured a classic goalkeeper battle between the Dynamite's Justin Dzuba and San Diego's Riley Swift, John Molet lit up the boards first for the home side with a right footed blast from just beyond the white line on the right side of the field. Just under 90 seconds later Paul Wright drew the Sockers level with his signature moves from his days in the old MISL. Midway through the 2nd second quarter a controversial shootout was awarded to San Diego and taken by forward Aaron Susi. But Dzuba was up to the task coming quickly off his line and taking away Susi's angle and saving the rebound off the boards. Chad Pearson led the Dynamite with the first hat trick of the season. Each coming from on Denver power plays. Paul Wright led the scoring for San Diego with a pair of goals and assists each. The Dynamite look to rebound next week at home against the Texas Outlaws.
