In the 1st Quarter the NY Shockers were rewarded with a PK with only :01 second remaining on the clock. Captain Chris Mogavaro stepped up and converted.
In the 2nd Quarter both teams battled it out and with :05 seconds left defender Pat Wren scored a volley from about 7 yards out. Going into the locker room the score was NY Shockers 2 and the Springfield Legend 0.
The 3rd Quarter the Legend responded with 2 goals to tie the game . The Shockers got a goal from Dede Lleshi that was wrapped around the boards and went in. Not be out done Marco Maggi struck a free-kick that was deflected into the Shocker net passed Nick Bochette.
The 4th Quarter saw NY Shocker forward Jeff Lewis chip the ball from close range over the Legend keeper to take the lead 4-3. With the Legend pressing to tie the game the Shockers took advantage with a close goal from Tommy Santoro and a long range goal from Shawn Thompson. The final score ends NY Shockers 6 and the Springfield Legend 3.
