US National Arena Team Set to Debut Tuesday
Circuito Mundial 2008 rolls into Montreal

Head Coach Bernie Lilavois and the United States National Arena Soccer Team arrived in Montreal early Sunday morning in preparation for Tuesday’s Circuito Mundial 2008 in Montreal.

The US team will take on Mexico and Canada in a three game round robin. They open the tournament with a match against Mexico.  The loser will face Canada in the second game and the winner of US/Mexico will face Canada in the final game.  The winner will be determined by record and, if necessary, goal differential.

The games will consist of two 24-minute halves and will be played outdoors on grass enclosed by traditional arena soccer boards.

The US team spent Sunday bonding and Lilavois put them through the paces at SportsXpo Laval. Monday will feature two training sessions leading up to Tuesday’s games.

"We are proud and grateful of all members of the arena soccer family," said FIFRA President Sergio del Rio, "to present in this beautiful city the Circuito Mundial 2008 as part of the Canada Day celebrations."
