The PASL announces its mandatory Pro League Owners Meeting. All teams must have at least one representative at the meeting if you are going to participate in the 2008-09 season. We are also having our US National Team Tryouts at 9:30AM-12:30PM on Sunday at Las Vegas Indoor www.lasvegasindoorsoccer.com this may be a good opportunity to recruit some top talent for your team.

Hotel: I'm holding the block of rooms under the group code of PAS0517. Saturday's rate is $133.00 plus tax, and Sunday is $57.00 plus tax. You must call the hotel and reserve your room by May 5th using group code PAS0517 or you could loose your reservation. We only have a hold on those rooms until May 5th. Meeting- The meeting will be in a conference room inside the 7,500 seat Orleans Arena www.orleansarena.com Having the meeting in an arena may assist with our meeting during the game operations part of the meeting. We can also preview the arena for future events.
Saturday Evening Get a Workout- Those of you who can still play a little are invited to a tournament being put together by Las Vegas Indoor Soccer. $50.00 per person and they will place us on teams. It starts at 5:20PM on Saturday. There will be the PASL Las Vegas Knights, Some National Team Tryout Players, and some of us retirees who think they still have it. It will be your only chance to kick the commissioner!
US National Team Tryouts: The first ever US National Team for "Arena Soccer" will be holding tryouts Sunday May 18th at Las Vegas Indoor from 9:30am to 12:30pm. We are playing in a Four Team International Event June 28th to July 1st in Montreal Canada. The event will feature: USA, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada. All players must RSVP by contacting US team coach Bernie Lilavois at goalscorer.26@hotmail.com. Once you are accepted you will get further hotel and event information. The PASL is sponsoring the team and your expenses will be covered once you make the team. Professional and Amateur players are welcome. The event is sanctioned by FIFRA- Federation International Futbal Rapido Association.
Qualifications:
1) You must be a US Citizen
2) You must have a passport prior to May 18th.
3) You must have played in:
A) The PASL winter 07/08 league
B) Be playing in the upcoming PASL Summer League (Starts May 24th).
C) Sponsored by a PASL Pro Team that is registered for the winter 08/09 season.
