The parity and depth the PASL is experiencing in its long standing divisions is more evident then ever with this seasons playoffs. The South Central Division, which has been part of the league since 2003, has the 4th seeded Arlington Magic headed to the Nationals. Arlington defeated the defending PASL International Champions Studio last week, then went to Austin, and stopped the 2nd seeded Amp’d. The Amp’s defeated the 3rd seeded DFW Tornado the week prior, who had been in every South Central Division Final, since 2004. The Northwest Division had perenial national finalist Tacoma as a 4th seed, went into Seattle whose team featured six USL 1 Seattle Sounders on their roster, and defeated Seattle 14-11. Tacoma then went to Wenatchee on Sunday and lost to the 3rd seeded Fire, who defeated 2nd seeded Snohomish 10-8 the day before. The Northwest Dvision has been in the PASL since 1999. The newer divisions saw the number 1 seeds win across the board. The International Finals schedule and draw will be posted later today.
