Beginning this spring, over 44,000 children between the ages of 10 and 12 competed in local soccer games in 51 cities throughout Mexico, the U.S. and Central America. Regional boys and girls champions crowned from Mexico, the U.S. and Central America will advance onto the International finals with the hope of becoming the Futbolito Bimbo 2009 International Champions. All games will be played at the NYTEX Sports Centre located at 8851 Ice House Drive in North Richland Hills, Texas. Following the final championship game and awards ceremony, all participating teams and their chaperones will have the opportunity to attend an exhibition game between the national U.S. and Mexico indoor soccer national teams.
