12/5/08 - The Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL-Premier) will begin its 12th year Saturday with 13 games around the league starting with Estadio Azteca All-Stars traveling to face the Chico Bigfoot slated for a 1:00pm kickoff.
Having just completed its 11th summer season and heading into its 6th winter season, PASL-Premier is the largest International indoor/arena soccer league in the world. PASL-Premier currently has 51 Premier teams in 9 divisions across the USA. The PASL-Premier is an amatuer development league and the official developmental league of the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL-Pro).
The PASL-Pro season is already underway and each club in the first-year league will field an affiliate team in PASL-Premier. Each PASL-Premier team will play an eight-game schedule with the final regular season game being played on February 28.
PASL-Pro rosters are well-stocked with players who came up through the PASL-Premier system. With an affiliate system now in place, the pipeline of well-developed indoor players will flow from youth to amateur to professional.
Waza FC Reserve is the PASL-Premier’s defending champion having won last March’s International Finals in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
This year's International Finals will be held March 6-7 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
