2/25/09 - KANSAS CITY, Missouri. – The KC Kings will host the Springfield Spirits this Saturday Night at 7:00 pm at the Kansas City Soccer Dome in a Midwest Division Playoff game. The champion of this region will then compete in the  2008-2009 PASL-Premier International Finals on 3/6/2009-3/8/2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"I’m looking forward very much to playing our fiercest rivals the Spirits. They have never beaten us at home and we have never won at their place. The games are always very physical between the two of us," former MISL All Star and Comets defender and Head Coach of the Kings Vlatko Andonovski said.

The KC Kings have teamed up with numerous Kansas City businesses’ to help raise money for the "Kick it for Kori" Medical Fund. Belfonte Ice Cream will be donating ice cream sandwiches. Rancho Grande Cantina and Pine Ridge Farms will be providing food for the fans at the match. There will be an abundance of Raffle Prizes, Silent Auction items and giveaways.

Kori Quinn, an amazing 13-year old and integral part of the Viati 95 Girls competitive soccer team, was recently diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma.  Kori LOVES the game of soccer and is passionate about everything, including her family, friends, school, and sports.  Kori is a very focused, dedicated, and talented athlete and is such a joy to watch as she has incredible speed!! "Kick it for Kori" wristbands are sold at http://www.viatisc.com/main.htm for $4 and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Kori Quinn Medical Fund.
