7/13/09 - The Tacoma Stars and The Soccer Center have teamed up with the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research to host a benefit tournament. Each Saturday in August will be a different bracket of the tournament.

Register online at soccercentertacoma.com and click on Tournaments or stop by the center. Registration fee is $200 per team, 3 games guaranteed, no membership required. Register your team before July 25th and each player receives a free Kicks for Cancer t-shirt. All funds raised will support life saving research for patients of ovarian cancer.

The Tacoma Stars are a member of the Premier Arena Soccer League.

     * August 1st       Battle of the Clubs -- Coed teams made up of Coaches/Parents/Alumni of Youth Clubs compete against other Clubs. Kids cheer on their Club team.
    
     * August 8th       Pub Cup -- Pub/Bar/Tavern Sponsored Adult Coed teams.

     * August 15th     Paired Up -- Coed teams.

     * August 22nd    Ladies Night -- Women's O30 and Women's Comp/Rec.

     * August 29th     Men's Open -- Competitive Men's teams.
