CINCINNATI 7 LOUISVILLE 6 (OT)
The highly anticipated matchup between the 1790 Cincinnati Express and the visiting Louisville Lightning was even better than expected. It was quite a rollercoaster ride, one that would take fourteen seconds of a sudden death overtime period to give Cincinnati the 7-6 victory over Louisville.
Defender Garret Buck was the hero for the Express in overtime, which allowed them to remain a perfect 15-0 at home and 3-0
against the Lightning. Cincinnati only needs one more win or one more Louisville loss to clinch the PASL-Pro's Eastern Division.
The Lightning drop to 9-5, while the Express improve to 10-3.
Louisville came out strong building a 3-0 lead, but Cincinnati tied the game in a 1:27 span from the end of the first quarter to the beginning of the second. The Lightning would forge ahead 4-3, 5-4, and 6-5, but Cincinnati rallied four times to tie the game. Buck's goal gave Cincinnati its first and only lead of the night.
