5/19/10 - Ze Roberto of the San Diego Sockers, and his wife Heather were recently chosen as one of six profiles on TLC’s online series, A Conception Story.

Heather and five other women were selected from hundreds of applicants nationwide to document their journeys towards motherhood.

Heather and Ze already have two kids, Thais, 4, and Tiago 3, but are looking to expand their family and Heather saw an opportunity to share her story with prospective mothers.

"I liked the opportunity to share my story with other women," said Heather, "but I also wanted to have a record and document that I can share with my family and have to look back on."

While their story is being told from Heather’s perspective, Ze still plays a vital role in all this even if he was initially reluctant to sign on.

"This is something Heather approached me with," said Ze, "but I think it could be a fun project."

Heather and Ze are featured prominently on TLC’s website and the intro to their story was featured on the front page at http://tlc.discovery.com/.

Ze Roberto recently won the North American Championship with the San Diego Sockers and was named All-League Honorable Mention for the 2009/10 PASL-Pro season.  Ze and Heather have been married for five years.
