The Premier Arena Soccer League kicks off the summer with the Stockton Pumas hosting AIS Sacramento at Turlock Indoor Saturday May 31st at 1:15PM. The Diablo’s enter their first season hosting the Southern Colorado Stars at OD’s in Fort Collins Colorado, Saturday Night, kickoff is at 7:00 PM. The PASL will move into the professional ranks announcing the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL-Pro). This will be an addition to the existing amateur league. The new league will create another level for players, coaches, and officials. The league will begin in October 2008 and end by March 2009. The league expects to have a 16 game schedule. The new league will have a partnership with Mexico through F.I.F.R.A. (Federation Internatonal Futbol Rapido Association). Mexico will have its own league and create an International Final with the PASL. The league will be looking for teams in the US and Canada.  The new league is targeting arenas with 2,500 to 7,500 seats, but will allow variances to this number depending on facility costs.
