PASL Announces First Wave of Men's Teams for 25th Season

The Premier Arena Soccer League corporate office has vetted and approved its first wave of Professional Men's teams for the 2023-2024 season, with several more under review.

Beginning in June, the PASL leadership team evaluated and vetted potential teams for its revamped Professional division ahead of its 25th season. The vetting process included existing programs, including teams parting ways with other leagues, and entirely new organizations.

The following Professional Men's teams have been vetted and approved, with 8 more teams in process:

  1. Great Lakes FC
  2. West MI Wrath
  3. Detroit Waza
  4. Northern Kentucky Nitro
  5. Youngstown Nighthawks
  6. Indiana Thunderbolts
  7. Springfield Demize
  8. Wichita Selection
  9. Austin Emerald
  10. Houston Bolt
  11. San Antonio Eagles
  12. Certified Lions FC

Commissioner Devon Joslin shared his thoughts on this milestone, stating, "We're not here seeking validation for a new product." He continued, "We're also not entering a speculative market. The fact that teams, including those from other leagues, are eager to join us is testament to the gap between promise and performance in this sport at the league-level. The era of anticipation is over; change is now a reality."

The PASL is in the process of finalizing its Professional Divisions and plans to release the season schedule in mid-October. The League will continue releasing news on partners, teams, and events every Tuesday and Friday.

The PASL Annual General Meeting will be hosted in Grand Rapids, MI from November 15th to 18th and will include a Minifootball and Arena National Team talent ID event.
