Twenty-eight games over two days later, Winter Nationals had a familiar conclusion. The Cincinnati Sirens won their third PASL Women's Championship, and Metro Louisville won their second straight PASL Men's Championship.

Metro went one further this year, adding the US Open Arena Soccer Championship trophy to their burgeoning trophy case.

Chicago Mustangs 5 Columbus Eagles 2 F - PASL Women's Semifinal
The host Mustangs punched their ticket to the Women's final to try to defend their PASL crown with a 5-2 win over a ruggedly determined Eagles team. Nina Nicosia scored three goals for the Mustangs who led 4-0, and held off a Columbus rally.

State Line Falcons 7 Des Moines United 5 F - US Open Semifinal
The upstart State Line Falcons, coached by former Mustangs star goalkeeper Jesus Flores, beat fellow tournament spoiler Des Moines United, 7-5. The energetic Falcons took the lead in the second quarter and did not look back. Des Moines threated to come back from a 6-2 deficit, but could get no closer than two goals.

Metro Louisville 6 Wichita Selection 5 SO - PASL Men's Championship
For the second straight year Metro beat Wichita in the PASL finals, with this year's game being decided by shootouts after last year's game went to overtime. Wichita took a 4-1 halftime lead, but Metro kept their composure, led by level-headed star goalkeeper Diego Reynoso. Louisville tied the game 4-4, and had to rally again after Erik Barragan gave Selection a 5-4 lead. Metro won the shootout, 2-0.

Cincinnati Sirens 3 Chicago Mustangs 1 F - PASL Women's Championship
After surrendering their PASL crown to Chicago last year, the Sirens took it back for the third time in four years. The Mustangs had won a 5-4 group play game against Cincinnati on Saturday, but could not get their offense going on Sunday. Toria Abbott and Kate Drummond scored third quarter goals to break a 1-1 tie.

Metro Louisville 4 State Line Falcons 0 F - US Open Championship Final
Metro wasn't done. After celebrating their PASL title, they had one more game to play. Metro found a hack to slow down State Line's relentless pressure and controlled possession throughout the game, breaking through in the third quarter after a scoreless half.

Luis Carlos Esteban Rodriguez and Damian Bolanos led the men with six goals each and Nina Nicosia and Shannon Walter led the women with four goals each.
